Here you can see one copy of the original 针灸甲乙经 Zhen Jiu Jia Yi Jing, in English named as A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion written by the great 皇甫谧 Huang Fu Mi betwen the years 256 to 283 of our Era. The copy is based at the museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the TCM Shanghai University.
The book clearly describes the location and selection of 349 acupuncture points (acupoints). The duration of needle retention, the depth of insertion of the needle, and the consequences of malpractice at the clinic. This book establishes the rules of acupuncture treatment.
